Vanessa Marquette is a lecturer at the ULB in international financial law. She is the author of many publications in French and English, in the areas of international private law and financial law. More specifically, her publications relate to cross-border bankruptcy and security interests. She is also the co-author of “Les offres publiques d’acquisition – 10 ans d’application de la réglementation”, a book published by Larcier in 2018. She is admitted to the Brussels Bar where she acts mainly in banking law, financial law, capital markets and insolvency. Vanessa Marquette is member of the editorial committee of the “Revue de Droit Commercial Belge”. She is also a member of the scientific committee of the “Association Européenne de Droit Bancaire et Financier” (A.E.D.B.F.), international and Belgian sections.
