Michelle Glassman Bock is a Partner in the Brussels and Washington offices of Squire Patton Boggs. She previously practiced in Frankfurt, Germany. Michelle is a US-qualified lawyer who has practiced international commercial arbitration and litigation in the US and in Europe for 15 years. Her practice focuses on high stakes arbitrations governed by both civil and common laws, sited in both civil law and common law jurisdictions. She has acted for clients in arbitration proceedings conducted under the auspices of the major arbitral institutions, as well as in ad hoc proceedings. Michelle’s representations cover a wide range of industries, with a focus on energy-related disputes. She has also represented companies and individuals before US courts at the trial and appellate levels.
Michelle regularly speaks and lectures on international arbitration at universities and conferences throughout Europe. She is recognized in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration – Future Leaders, and the ExpertGuides. She is a member of the Washington, DC bar and an associate member of the Brussels Bar and holds a BA from Rice University in History and French and a JD from Harvard Law School.
